If you don't agree with any part of these terms, please don't use our service.

2. Description of Service

Wax Letter provides a platform to:

• Upload or enter recipient mailing addresses
• Compose personalized letter content
• Select custom wax seal designs
• Have physical letters printed, sealed, and mailed on your behalf

We strive to deliver high-quality letters, but final delivery depends on postal services outside our control.

3. User Accounts

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access

You're responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Wax Letter only for lawful purposes. You may not use our service to send:

• Threatening, harassing, or abusive content
• Fraudulent or deceptive communications
• Content that violates others' privacy or intellectual property rights
• Spam or unsolicited bulk mail
• Materials that are illegal or promote illegal activities
• Content that contains malware or harmful code references

We reserve the right to refuse to print and mail content that violates these guidelines. No refunds will be issued for orders rejected due to policy violations.

5. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create (letter text, uploaded addresses, etc.). By using our service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Process, store, and print your content
• Use postal services to deliver your letters

This license is solely for fulfilling your orders. We don't use your content for any other purpose, and it's protected according to our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right to use any content you submit and that it doesn't infringe on others' rights.

6. Pricing & Payment

Our current pricing is displayed on our pricing page. By placing an order, you agree to pay all charges at the prices in effect when you submit your order.

• Payment Processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Billing: You'll receive a receipt for each completed order
• Price Changes: We may update pricing; changes won't affect orders already placed

7. Refunds & Cancellations

We want you to be satisfied with our service:

• Before Production: Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if we haven't started printing
• Quality Issues: If you receive letters with printing defects or unsealed wax, contact us for a reprint or refund
• Delivery Issues: We're not responsible for postal service delays or losses, but we'll help investigate
• User Errors: We cannot refund orders sent to incorrect addresses provided by you

To request a refund, contact us through our contact form within 30 days of your order.

8. Intellectual Property

The Wax Letter service, including our website, designs, logos, and software, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our materials
• Use our branding without permission
• Reverse engineer our software
• Resell or commercially exploit our service

9. Disclaimers

While we strive for excellence, our service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• Specific delivery times (dependent on postal services)
• That our service will meet all your requirements

We work hard to ensure quality, but occasional issues may occur. We'll always work with you to resolve problems.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wax Letter shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages exceeding the amount you paid for the specific order in question

This doesn't affect any rights you may have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

• Your violation of any third party's rights

12. Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that should survive termination (like limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
